At a private event taking place last night, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) previewed what could be a model it plans to launch very soon under its “Dream Cars” initiative — the Mercedes-AMG S-Class S 63 Coupe.
Above, you can see a sole picture of the car that was shared on MBM’s social media page. Alongside the S 63 Coupe, the CLS 400, which was launched earlier this year was also on display.
The single frontal image of the S 63 Coupe clearly shows the 47 Swarovski crystals used to form part of the headlamps, flanking the single-bar front grille and AMG front bumper. Inside, the car looks to be fitted with off-white leather upholstery.
Under the bonnet of this full-on AMG model is a 5.5 litre biturbo V8 engine developing 585 hp and 900 Nm of torque — no, that isn’t a typo, there really is 900 Nm of torque in this machine.
The S 63 is capable of nailing the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.3 seconds. If equipped with a 4Matic all-wheel drive system (it’s yet unclear if the local car previewed has it), that time gets slashed to 3.9 seconds.
We wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe is in fact a part of MBM’s coming range of “Dream Cars” it plans to launch here. In which case, do expect an official launch to be just around the corner.

I still don’t understand why Mercedes calls the CLS a Coupe. A coupe is a car with a fixed roof, two doors, and a sloping rear.
