Ford Mustang the “ultimate stunt car” says former Stig

Some say he used to be on Top Gear, and that he used to be the Stig. All we know is, he’s in love with the Ford Mustang. Ben Collins, former driver has come out to proclaim that the Ford Mustang GT with its 5.0 litre V8 engine is the “ultimate stunt car.” He said this in his new film, Ben Collins: Stunt Driver.

Before coming to his conclusion though, several high-performance cars were tested against aerobatic planes, helicopter gunships and military machines. This includes an Aston Martin Vanquish, a BMW M3 and a McLaren 650S alongside the Mustang GT. Other vehicles that Collins tested include a Jaguar F-Type, Ariel Nomad and a Noble M600.

Collins said of the 75-minute film, “the point of this adventure was to find the perfect car for an epic, high octane, Hollywood-style car chase, and it’s the iconic Ford Mustang that gets top billing.” He added that the muscle car has been in many car chase scenes over the last five decades.

In conclusion, Collins describes the Mustang GT as the “weapon of choice to leave the bad guys standing in a cloud of tyre smoke.”

Aside from being the silent race car driver in Top Gear and a stunt driver, Collins’ has also competed in Le Mans, GT and Nascar races before, which pretty much sums up his credentials.

The top-of-the-range Ford Mustang GT previously made an appearance in Malaysia earlier this year. With a 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine beneath the hood, it produces 435 hp and 541 Nm of torque and goes from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

  • Preve is better than Mustang lah. To all those who cium buntot Mat Salleh and say Ford is better, learn to love your own homegrown products brader. Proton is indeed the best.

I suggest to use Proton cars in the show.
Use proton extensively in scenes to show how super auta Proton cars are…..

Bumper falling off, super milo tin body easily crumple in the slightest accident, dashboard disintegration, cheapo plastic parts dropping off easily after bumping on to them, etc.

That would be super fun to watch!!!
