It appears Vin Diesel just can’t wait to share more good news with Fast and Furious fans. The actor has revealed via his official Instagram page, the release dates of the ninth and tenth movie in the franchise’s final trilogy.
Fast and Furious number nine looks set to hit theatres on April 19, 2019. The tenth film meanwhile, will come nearly two years after that on April 2, 2021. Previously, Diesel had revealed the release date of the movie franchise’s eighth instalment, Fast 8 on April 14, 2017, also via his Instagram page featuring an image of the Empire State Building in New York.
No details on the either of the next movie’s plot nor characters have been released so far. However, IMDB has stated that many familiar faces like Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham and Vin Diesel (obviously) are set to star in Fast 8.
Although Diesel has suggested that the Fast and Furious 8, 9 and 10 will be the trilogy to end the franchise, spinoffs and prequels are certainly a possibility to keep the franchise going. Should it actually come to an end, the franchise would have spawned 10 movies over two decades, with The Fast and the Furious having kicked things off back in 2001.

1stly … I can’t say this piece of info is considered Automotive news?
2ndly … Vin Diesel though has full of character, should start exploring other roles and other film as an actor.
Just saying :)
Well-said! After all, his acting skill is still lousy.
fast n furious news is and will be definitely a ‘automative news’ asrshole. Vin Diesel in Last Witch hunter very good perfomance! He already ‘explored’ other rolls of films.
Proton Saga?
Is it true that in 2 decades we only have proton saga lineup like what Vin posted?
haha funny la u
They need to start including better cars like driftking vios TRD. The show is getting old with boring cars.
yeah, must feature cars like TRD Vios aka Dugung, Sportivo Hilux kosong, etc.
Show them explode in a ball of flame….after hit by a bicycle, to show toyota cars are coffins with wheels…
Do they really need to make 10 movies?
