Everyone’s favourite former Top Gear hosts – Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May – will soon return in their new show The Grand Tour. Slated to air on November 18 via Amazon Prime, the trio decided to make an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden to remind us why we enjoy their on-screen antics so much.
If James Corden sounds like a familiar name, then you’ve probably watched one of his “Carpool Karaoke” videos while browsing through social media. For this segment called the “Grand Racing Quiz,” the four British men find themselves at the Willow Springs Race Course in the Mojave Desert, with a Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and a challenge.
Each member of The Grand Tour team will attempt to set the fastest time around the track, while Corden administers a quiz from the passenger seat. For every wrong question, a second is added to their time, and the fastest time wins. How hard can it be?
Well, the questions aren’t difficult, but they are extremely funny and well worth a watch (i.e. Do you miss Top Gear?). Let’s not forget the bickering and continuous banter being traded between the Clarkson, Hammond and May, which is always entertaining. With just over a month to go until The Grand Tour premieres, are you hyped yet?
