The ASEAN scooter market is growing rapidly, with Yamaha producing specific models for niche markets, such as the Yamaha Janus for lady riders in Vietnam. The latest Yamaha entry to the market is the NVX 150 super sports scooter, slated to launch sometime in October.
Carrying the same 155 cc single-cylinder 15 hp Blue Core engine taken from the Yamaha N-Max, the NVX is slated to slot in above the N-Max in terms of equipment and specifications. These include smart-key activation and a 5.8-inch LCD panel for the instruments. Stop-start is also part of the NVX’s specification.
Another feature on the NVX 150 is a 25-litre storage box under the seat, which will easily swallow a helmet and other riding gear. Rolling on 14-inch wheels, the NVX is expected to come near the 127 kg N-Max in terms of physical size, but with sharper, trendier styling. The Yamaha NMax retails in Malaysia for RM8,812.

will this be in malaysia soon, with abs?
Dun wan. Alredi too many maxi scooters racing with BMWs on hiways.
It has the kapchai look rather then a scoopy…
And I would prefer a slight bump to 200cc for better highway usage.
Also hopefully a wider leg rest than the NMAX which is too narrow.
Lastly a softer suspension for the rear.
Bring 250cc instead of all this and price it below 10k!!
Launch this with ABS, and I’m sold.
Boon Siew.. If u reading this “Please bring in Forza 125”
looks like top-heavy…..
HLYM, would you kill Nmax to bring this in?
The problem in Msia is not the bikes sold but the horrendous after sales …
how about philippines?
Yes, how about the Philippines?
