August 2017 week one fuel prices – petrol, diesel up

It’s Wednesday again, so here’s another fuel price announcement. Unfortunately, it’s bad news as the upward trend in fuel prices continues following an increase that was announced last week.

From tomorrow, August 3, RON 95 petrol will be priced at RM2.07 per litre (up four sen from RM2.03 per litre last week), while RON 97 petrol is priced at RM2.32 per litre (up four sen from RM2.28 per last week).

As for Euro 2M diesel, it will retail at the pump for RM2.05 per litre (up six sen from RM1.99 per litre last week) this week, while Euro 5 diesel will go for RM2.15 per litre (up six sen from RM2.09 per litre last week). These prices take effect from midnight until August 9, when the next price adjustment will be announced.

This is the 19th weekly fuel pricing update since the system’s implementation on March 30. Compared to March 2017 prices, which was before weekly pricing took effect, RON 95 is down by 23 sen (from RM2.30 per litre), RON 97 by 28 sen (RM2.60 per litre) and Euro 2M diesel is down by 15 sen (RM2.20).

According to current global prices, Ron 95 should not be more than RM1.50. But now it goes up to RM2.07.

This means each of us overpay the gomen by 57 per litre. 40 litre car means we give free money of RM24 each time we fill up. Most of us fill up 8x a month.

Calculate that with 10 million motorist in Malaysia

Gomen makes extra billions yet our hispitals got no money for ubat or blood tests and our universities are crying funding has been cut drastically

Gomen needs money also to pay Gomen Servants. Malaysia has the largest civil service in the world. 1.5 million Government servants.

Australia has 250,000 Government Servants to cater 30 million rakyat.

Malaysia has 1.5 million government servants to cater 30 million rakyat also.

Petrol has to go up cause gomen need money to pay them

It gonna be 3 weeks up, 2 weeks down…and again and again and again.
If not, 1st week down 3sen, 2nd week down 3sen, 3rd week up 5 sen, 4th week up 5 sen. Then fifth week down 3 sen again and again repeated.

Now, looks like that kangkung prices goes up……and petrol prices definitely go up too….

Seem that the govt will whack whatever, whenever, whenever ( be it kangkung, tepung susu, beras, pampers, sardine, milo, dll) just to squeeze more money from the rakyat.

This is really SatuMalaysia. Semua dikerjakan!

    Syabas!

to those who bashed without basis; according to MOPS, the trend was a steep increase since 24th July til 31st July. Then dropped on the 1st Aug and slightly rose yesterday. How Kelab Kunta arrived at RM1.50 a liter is a wonder but as a reminder, don’t just look at Brent if you would like to see actual fuel price. It’s good to serve as a reference but not for the real processed product.
On 31st Jul, the supposedly market price for R95 was RM1.78 (approx.). Add that with sini sana punya RM0.32 premium, it’s RM2.10 a liter.

Not siding anyone but just would like to remind, kalau nak bash tu, kene buat sedikit analisis tu. Jgn rempuh masuk terus tembak hantam buta. Kalau jadi polis, habislah, yg innocent punya kene tembak plak.
