Oh look, it’s Wednesday! Time for another update on fuel prices, and it looks like things will remain as is for another week because prices will stay unchanged at the pumps, continuing the trend we saw last week and before that.
Starting from tomorrow, April 12, RON 95 petrol will remain at RM2.20 per litre (unchanged from last week), while RON 97 retails at RM2.47 per litre (unchanged from last week).
As for diesel, Euro 2M will go for RM2.18 per litre (unchanged from last week). Meanwhile, Euro 5 diesel, which commands a 10 sen premium over regular diesel, will sell for RM2.28 per litre (unchanged from last week). These prices will be in effect until the April 18, when the next set of fuel price adjustments will be announced.
This week’s fuel price announcement is the 55th since the weekly system took effect at the end of March 2017. The current price of RON 95 petrol is 10 sen lower (from RM2.30 per litre) than at the start of the programme, while RON 97 is 13 sen less (from RM2.60 per litre). Diesel, meanwhile, is two sen cheaper (from RM2.20 per litre).

3 weeks in a row global prices going up but our Malaysian Ron remain same. This shows, all this while, we have not followed world prices and the float system is a fraud
Tell this to paultan comment section’s infamous resident; John. Lol. And today oil world price is 3 year high.
Syukur Alhamdulilah… Since no price increase of petrol, I can now maintain my morning breakfast of teh tarik and roti canai telor…..
Syukur…. Nasi goreng timun bebas #GST
I think from now till Election Day there will have no fuel price increase. But watch out on 9th May2017
everyone should contribute to the “diamond ring or birkin bag” fund
When we realised this post is already repeating more than a year… and election is coming in couple of weeks.
Crude oil prices up and up.
Our petrol prices remained same. Meaning:
1. There’s no such formula to calculate the price
2. Their profit is so big, they don’t care those tiny increase.
We can conclude that our petrol prices are determined by whole bunch of monkeys and a greedy chicken.
