Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has launched the ‘Ford for Food’ online contest that builds on Malaysians love for food. The web-based driving game is an interactive way to showcase the various features and capabilities of the Ford Ranger pick-up truck.
Each week, SDAC will give away three prizes in the form of SDAC-Ford merchandise. Weekly winners will be announced on the Ford Malaysia Facebook page. Open to anyone aged 18 years and above, Ford for Food will go on until the end of the year.
Featuring the Ranger Wildtrak, the Ford for Food game takes participants on a pre-defined route to different states throughout Malaysia – starting with Melaka – and highlights each state’s local delights.
Participants will go through three levels, with each level featuring a different driving condition – highway, off-road and city streets. As they drive through each level, players are tasked with picking up as many food items as they can to score points. Throughout the game, players can also activate key features in the Ranger to score bonus points.
The top three players with the highest scores and fastest times cumulatively each calendar week will be the winners. One can play the Ford for Food game as many times as they wish within one calendar week to achieve the best results. Results will be displayed on a leaderboard, which will be reset each week.
To play, go to the contest page on SDAC’s website and log in through your Facebook account. The game is mobile-friendly and can also be played on smartphones. Good luck with the food hunt!
