This is truly SYUKUR LAH not affected when using KEROSENE.

        Poor people dont pump ron97.

People shouldn’t complain ron97 hike as these are rich people fuel. let rich people pay more, gov has more revenue to channel into various public welfare programs.

As long as Ron95 maintains. We, the average people expenses are the same regardless what ever ron97 price.

  • PT team, while pumping petrol I saw a sign from KPDNKK allowing foreign vehicles to pump RON97 unlimited qty now unlike previous where they got limits within 50km(?) of borders, oso diesel is limited to 20liters for foreign vehicles. Seems like veli lopsided and unenforceable.

RON 95 is already bad enough, besides what you should be fighting for is a lower price for all petrol around…that way our car can enjoy better quality petrol without breaking the wallet…Speaking of which our RON 95 still the dirty EURO 2M?? Come on lah ppl at Euro 6, we still at Euro 2M progressing to Euro 4M at least make Euro 5M standardize.
Sure, modern engines with knock sensors could run on fuel with a low RON rating, as the engines can adjust their spark timing automatically to eliminate the knocking. However, the car’s fuel consumption, driveability, and power may be affected…and it’s quite apparent in some car models.

      • EURO6 Standard on Aug 16, 2018 at 2:35 pm

At shell we are advocating for the EURO5 standard fuel, because there is no EURO6 fuel standards.

EURO6 is an emissions standards which is based on the car you use.

So head on over to Shell with your EURO6 certified car and pump our EURO5 fuel.
