Official Malaysian distributor for the Vespa brand, Naza Premira, has introduced three 2018 Vespa scooters in the local market – the Vespa Primavera 150 (RM15,600), Vespa Sprint 150 (RM16,400) and Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport (RM28,000). This follows the introduction of several limited edition models last month – the Vespa 946 (RED), Sprint Carbon and Sei Giorni.
Updated for the model year, the 2018 Vespa Primavera 150 comes with some new bits added. These include the “tie” accent on the front and chrome crest adorning the front mudguard.
Rolling on 12-inch aluminium alloy five-spoke wheels, the Primavera carries a single-cylinder four-stroke 150 cc i-get engine that produces 12.7 hp at 7,750 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. There are three colour options for the Primavera 150 – Beige Metallic, Nero Vulcano and Monto Bianco.
Coming with LED lighting all round, Primavera riders can customise their scooter with a range of accessories from the official Vespa catalogue. Along items that can be fitted to the Primavera are storage boxes, back rest, parcel rack and others.
As for the 2018 Vespa Sprint, this scooter carries the same engine as the Primavera with styling and design being the main difference. The Sprint does come with several colour options – Blue Matt, Monte Bianco, Rosso Dragon dan Grigio Titantio.
Accessories on offer for the Sprint are model specific luggage, windshield with Vespa logo and front and rear mudguards. Also offered are two-tone alloy wheels with ‘Sport’ graphics.
The most powerful scooter in the Vespa lineup is the 2018 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport, using a Quasar 273 cc single-cylinder mill that produces 21 hp @ 7,750 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Standard on the GTS 300 is traction control and ABS.
New colours and graphics adorn the GTS 300 Super Sport, along with refreshed graphics. Colour options for the GTS 300 are Red Matt and Grigio Titanio.

Prices are so expensive. In Europe, this scooter is affordable to the poor people even.
Our ringgit has gone down so much due to 60 yrs of corruption. Hopefully it becomes strong once again so that things become affordable to Malaysians
enough with dribbling from your arse. these scooters are priced 3-4K pound range in UK which is the same price bracket as the BMW G310R, Yamaha YZF-R3 and Honda Rebel 300. so not exactly “affordable to the poor people even”.
get your facts right, RM first major drop during 4th PM, and when 7th PM took over, RM become worst!
Even kapchai also Mat Moto ie Mat Rempit got to take loan to pay back.
