Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and Charger R/T are the latest additions to the Lego Speed Champions line-up

If you have a dream car in mind but your budget is incredibly tight, Lego’s Speed Champions sets are a viable alternative to consider. Should that dream car be a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon or a 1970 Charger R/T, you’re in for a treat.

Dodge and Lego have collaborated to create downsized versions of both cars for the benefit of muscle car fans who don’t want to deal with the issue of fuel economy. “We know that many of our Dodge//SRT enthusiasts become fans of the brand at an early age, and like me, also grow up building Lego vehicles that we dream of one day driving on the road,” said Steve Beahm, head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and Fiat at FCA North America.

“With the new Speed Champions set featuring the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, our youngest fans can now build and jump into the ‘driver’s’ seat of two of their ultimate fantasy muscle cars,” he added.

The kit, which includes both cars, will come with three minifigures: a Challenger driver, Charger driver and a race marshal. Each car will have unique attributes, like the Demon will have removable windshield, rubber tyres and two sets of wheels. Meanwhile, the Charger has a removable supercharger and an alternate engine cover.

I wonder why Lego never make for Geely and Proton since Proton fanboys say their car is so happening!
