Porsche Cayenne, Panamera – new Premium Package, Power Steering Plus and PASM now standard in M’sia

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the authorised importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, has updated its product line-up, which is one of several initiatives by the company this year.

The Porsche Cayenne and Panamera models will now come with a newly enhanced Premium Package, which includes 14-way electrically adjustable seats with memory function for front passengers, four-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, electric powered sun blinds, ambient lighting and a Bose sound system.

Aside from these comfort and convenience features, these models will also come with Power Steering Plus and Porsche Air Suspension Management (PASM) as standard.

With the updated equipment list, the Cayenne’s base price now starts from RM780,000, while the Panamera retails from RM890,000. Interested customers can take advantage of the Porsche 360 Financing scheme, and all Porsche vehicles sold by SDAP come with a four-year warranty and free maintenance package.

“Together with Porsche Asia Pacific, the Premium Package for the Cayenne and Panamera is an initiative to enrich the product substance to elevate the customer’s ownership experience even further,” said Christopher Hunter, CEO of SDAP.

“We are giving a wider spread of comfort and sportiness in our vehicles, yet with even more competitive pricing. With this enhanced product line-up, we certainly look forward to a great year ahead,” he added.

“Malaysia is home of the Porsche Experience Centre Sepang, and also one of our most important markets with a strong following for the brand,” commented Arthur Willmann, managing director of Porsche Asia Pacific.

He adds, “we are very excited about the future potential here together with SDAP as our long-term partner, especially with regards to an even more competitive model line-up, the expansion of our sales network as well as our electrification strategy. Together we are already looking forward to the introduction of the Taycan, our first fully-electric vehicle, which will come to the market at the beginning of 2020.”

Later this year, SDAP will launch the new Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, followed by the all-electric Taycan, which is slated to arrive on Malaysian shores in 2020.

No, you should “thank” PH Government. Car prices are going up despite their cybertroll saying it’s coming down.
