2019 Ford Ranger Raptor now available in Absolute Black, Arctic White – new colours at no extra cost

Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has announced the availability of two new colours for the Ford Ranger Raptor, those being Absolute Black, and Arctic White. The new hues join the existing palette comprising Lightning Blue and Conquer Grey, which means customers now get four colours to choose from, although the part-leather sport seats still come with blue stitching.

Besides that, nothing else has changed. To recap, the Ranger Raptor is priced at RM199,888 (on-the-road without insurance) and comes with a three-year or 100,000 km warranty. It’s powered by a 2.0 litre EcoBlue bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine from the Panther family, punching out 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque. All this is routed through a Getrag 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission with a wider ratio span that improves acceleration and responsiveness.

For equipment, there’s xenon headlights with LED DRLs, LED fog lights, keyless entry with push-start button, electrochromic rear-view mirror, cruise control, powered driver’s seat, active noise cancellation, dual-zone climate control and a rear 230-volt power socket.

The driver gets a chunky leather-wrapped steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters, whereas the centre dash gets the latest SYNC 3 eight-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionalities.

Safety-wise, the Raptor comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, stability control, hill descent control and rear ISOFIX child seat anchors. However, it doesn’t get the Wildtrak 4×4’s driver assists, which include autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

Garang indeed. Idk why Proton cannot give us a Game Changer Pick Up Truck like this. Instead, their Arena Game Over 15 years ago… Now waiting for Perodua to develop a Game Changing Pick Up Truck

Proton said it was Game Changer when they launched the Proton Arena.

        The car failed miserably.

What are you talking about Juara, Preve, Tiara, Savvy, Suprima for? These aren’t pickup trucks and as for Arena, it is still a game changer in the history books. It was the first Proton car to be successful in a First World market (ie Australia). You can’t change that history no matter how you try, and I have seen you trying very hard to do that, in vain as it may be.
