Lexus Malaysia has announced that the order books have opened for the 2019 Lexus NX, which updates the facelifted first-gen SUV for the current year. The refresh comes a year and a half on from the introduction of the 2018 model year version of the AZ10, and reduces the count to three models – the NX 300h has been dropped from the model line-up, leaving the Urban, Premium and F Sport as the available variants here.
The update adds on Lexus Safety System+ on all models, adding on Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) with a stop/go function and Adaptive High-Beam System (AHS) to the safety equation.
There are also revisions in equipment specifications, with a few minor changes coming about, essentially omissions. The Urban and F Sport drop the credit card-style Smart Card Key system, leaving only the Premium with the key system. Wireless charging is also gone from the Premium and F Sport.
Out go the glass roofs from the range as well – previously, the Urban and F Sport came with a full panoramic glass roof, while the Premium featured a moonroof. Those have all been dropped. Elsewhere, the F Sport loses the 10.3-inch display and Mark Levinson audio system – it now comes with an eight-inch display and an eight-speaker Lexus Premium Audio system, which also equips the other models in the line-up.
No mechanical changes, and so the 2.0 litre turbocharged four-pot found across the entire NX 300 range continues on with 235 hp and 350 Nm in the way of output. Seven exterior colours are available for the 2019 NX, these being Blazing Carnelian, Amber CS, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Quartz, Graphite Black GF, Red MC CS and Sparkling Meteor ME. The F-Sport gets two exclusive colours, Heat Blue CL and Lava Orange CS.
The good news is that the prices have also been revised downwards, in the case of the NX 300 Urban from RM326,000 to RM313,888, while the NX 300 Premium is now priced at RM333,888 (previously, RM345,000). The NX 300 F Sport gets the biggest reduction in pricing – it now goes for RM348,888, a drop of more than RM55,000 from its previous price of RM404,000. All prices are on-the-road without insurance.

The safety feature just make it a better buy than glc and x3…. and bullet proof reliability
Glc FL will make this NX revision looks irrelavant.
Hahahaahhaha please go ahead get more , as I virtually see none on the road compare to GLC or X3 …
Still too expensive.
Well done
Janji dicapati…finally a car that reduces price…
Saves money for the rich. Hmm… is this new malaysia for the rich?
How abt cheaper NX200t? Anywez better go for NX 300 Premium then top spec NX 300 F Sport , becoz more expensip here in Langkawi
Big L for early buyers… Such amount is too hefty to swallow… Labuan prices are global prices yet being benchmark as tax exempted.
Some right move in price reduction but wrong decision in removing the appeals. F Sports should have at least the 10.3 inch and ML sound system and panoramic roof while key card system should be standard across the variants. Premium should have the 10.3 inch and ML sound but no sunroof while urban should just stay with Lexus sound system with no sunroof as well. Its CBU so F sports can price around 360k with premium at 320k and urban at 290k respectively.
