Bugatti Chiron Noire edition – 20 units only, fr RM14m!

Bugatti has introduced the Chiron Noire that’s available in two exclusive finishes, Chiron Noire Sportive and Chiron Noire Elegance. The latter features an exposed carbon-fibre body that gives off a sinister matte look, and the radiator grille gets a new chequered design, complete with a new black enamel-painted emblem that’s made from solid silver.

The C-shaped signature line, which is milled from solid metal, gets a silk-matte aluminium finish. Other exterior accentuations include a black carbon and polished aluminium side mirror caps and engine cover, as well as “Noire” inscription on the side panels and underside of the rear wing.

The black theme continues into the cabin, featuring more “Noire” badging on the door sills and on the outer side of the centre console. The head restraints also get the Noire embroidery. Other additions include a carbon badge inlaid in the centre armrest, which denote its exclusivity.

Next up is the Chiron Noire Sportive. Here, the body’s exposed carbon-fibre trims are given a matte black finish, and the exterior trim elements (the C-shaped signature line, wheels, front spoiler and radiator grille) are all finished in matte black. The quad tailpipes are likewise finished in black, and the engine cover also gets a similar dark treatment.

Compared to the Chiron Noire Elegance, the Sportive variant gets a more aggressively darkened interior. The “Noire” inscriptions are all finished in black, while the aluminium trim parts on the dashboard, steering wheel, centre console, and door handles get a matte black coating.

Otherwise, the Chiron remains mechanically unchanged from before. It’s powered by an 8.0 litre 16-cylinder quad turbo engine that makes 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque, and all that power is routed to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Chiron sprints from 0-100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds.

For those interested, the Chiron Noire edition is limited to just 20 vehicles, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2020. Each unit starts from three million euros (RM13.9 million). The Chiron Noire is also available for the Chiron Sport at an extra charge of 100,000 euros (RM462k).
