The Tesla Model 3 ‘Highland’ facelift has gained a new variant, the Model 3 Long Range RWD, which, as its name suggests, brings the longest battery range yet for the electric vehicle model.
In Europe, the latest addition to the Model 3 range is priced from 44,990 euros (RM211,247) according to the Tesla Germany configurator site. In the right-hand-drive market that is the United Kingdom, the Model 3 Long Range RWD is priced from 44,990 pounds sterling (RM252,531), according to the brand’s UK configurator site.
The Model 3 Long Range RWD is claimed to yield a range of 702 km on a full charge based on the WLTP testing standard when specified with 18-inch ‘Photon’ design wheels; stepping up to the 19-inch ‘Nova’ wheel specification drops the WLTP-rated range to 640 km. 0-100 km/h is elapsed in a claimed 5.2 seconds.
For comparison to the base variant, the Model 3 RWD has a range of 513 km (WLTP) or an estimated 554 km on the smaller 18-inch wheels, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration benchmark takes a claimed 6.1 seconds. The variant with the next-longest battery range is the Long Range AWD, at 629 km WLTP.
According to the Tesla UK configurator, paint finishes start with Pearl White Multi-Coat as standard, while Deep Blue Metallic, Solid Black and Stealth Grey are 1,300 pounds (RM7,304) cost options. Further paint options are Ultra Red and Quicksilver, which are priced at 2,000 pounds (RM11,237) for the 2025 Model 3.
Inside, the 2025 Model 3 continues to get a black interior scheme as standard, while a black-and-white scheme is a 1,100-pound (RM6,181) option. For ADAS kit, Basic Autopilot is standard, while Enhanced Autopilot is priced at 3,400 pounds (RM19,107). Meanwhile, Full Self Driving for the Model 3 is priced at 6,800 pounds (RM38,216) in the UK.

Nah the current LR AWD’s range on 18 inch wheels is actually 678km (629km on 19 inch wheels), which is not too far off from this LR RWD’s range of 702km (640km on 19 inch wheels).
But cheaper
On 19” wheels (because that is how most LR owners will spec it) the range difference between the new LR-RWD and current LR-AWD is only ~8 miles according to the UK configurator.
That is how fast battery tech is moving. We will see 1000km range from a similar battery size in the next 2 years.
