2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 unveiled – upgraded with new fuel tank, chassis, upside-down forks

Getting an upgrade for next year is the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900, with improvements to the handling package. In Malaysia, the previous generation Triumph Speed Twin 900 was priced at RM56,899 excluding road tax, insurance and registration.

Changes start at the new, sportier fuel tank, with chiseled side panels and stylized throttle body covers. The headlamp is now smaller, with slimmer engine casings and shorter exhaust silencer. There are three colour options for the Speed Twin 900 the first of which is Pure White with bright blue and orange stripes on the tank.

There is also the Phantom Black colour option, a black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents. Finally, the Speed Twin 900 is available in an Aluminium Silver design with a splash of red framing the Triumph logo.

Biggest change comes in the Speed Twin 900’s front end, with Marzocchi upside-down forks and twin Marzocchi shock absorbers with piggy-back reservoirs in the rear. There is also a new stiffer and lighter aluminium swingarm for precise handling with rear wheel travel now 110 mm from the previous 120 mm.

The new pattern alloy wheels are stopped by single discs front and rear, with Triumph brand four-piston radial caliper in front and Nissin two-piston floating caliper in the rear. Two-channel cornering ABS is standard equipment, as is traction control and two riding modes – Road and Rain.

A new instrument panel features a large, bright LCD display for revs, speed and gear, with an integrated TFT display showing information such as ride modes. Installing the optional Bluetooth connectivity module allows for turn-by-turn navigation, and telephone and music control.

No change in the engine, with a parallel-twin Bonneville engine displacing 900 cc. Power is claimed to be 64 hp at 7,500 rpm with 80 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm.
