Malaysian fuel prices October 2024 week four – prices unchanged; diesel RM2.95/litre, RON97 RM3.19/litre

It is Wednesday, and so it is time, once again for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia as the ministry of finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of October 24 to 30, 2024.

The coming week once again brings no change to the price of Euro 5 B10 and B20 diesel fuels, which remains at the current rate of RM2.95 per litre, where it was last week. Euro 5 B7 diesel, which retails for 20 sen per litre more, will therefore also remain at RM3.15 per litre for the coming week. The same applies with RON 97, carrying over unchanged from last week’s rate of RM3.19 per litre.

The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at its current rate of RM2.15 per litre. Meanwhile, RON 95 petrol remains at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre as set by the Malaysian government in 2021.

These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, October 30, 2024, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 43rd edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 302nd in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
