We’re now in penultimate month of 2024 and the year-end sales fever is heating up. It gets no hotter than a Civic Type R with a RM80,000 discount, I’m sure.
Honda Malaysia’s November 2024 campaign is titled ‘Unlock Massive Deals’ and it combines two types of rebates for up to RM80,000 off. The Civic Type R joined HM’s monthly promo with RM80k off last month, and it’s still on the list this month. That discount brings the RRP of the 319 PS/420 Nm/6MT red-badged hot hatch to RM320k.
FL5 aside, the biggest discounts this month are for the Civic, which is RM12,000 off for the E and V, and RM10,000 off for the RS petrol and hybrid. This means that the handsome C-segment sedan benchmark now starts from below RM120k.
As for the City, October discounts range from RM3,000 (S) to RM8,000 (E, V, RS petrol). The top RS hybrid gets RM5,000 off. Why does the discount amount fluctuate between months and variants? It’s the ebb and flow of production versus demand.
As for Honda’s SUVs, we’ll start with the WR-V. Buyers of the base S get RM5,000 off while the E, V and RS come with an RM8,000 discount. If you want the HR-V, the 1.5L NA S, the base turbo E and the RS hybrid all get RM3,000 off, while the V is yours for RM7,000 off.
The City Hatchback and CR-V were excluded from monthly sales campaigns before mid-August, but there are decent savings to be had now. The B-segment hatchback – newly available in Phoenix Orange Pearl – is RM3,000 off across the range except for the V and RS petrol, which get RM6,000 off. Discount for the CR-V is RM4,000 for the S, RM6,000 for the E and RM3,000 for the RS hybrid.
This promo is for vehicles registered from today till November 30.

I lost count,2024…is this the 4th time Honda msia is rolling out rebates?
This might send a signal that Honda sales is unhealthy, overflowing stocks, poor market share, the pie is getting smaller due to fierce competition from ICE and EVs flooding the market.
Anyway, rebates is a Christmas gift towards year end for those diehard hardcore HOnda fanboys.
honda is king
Good luck buying those Civic
The T/H/N were already overpriced. More so with those add-ons accessories. Now with competition heating up, padan muka. Let the China ones mari. These are so much value for the price. Way way above what those incumbent brands.
