Puspakom has announced that all its branches in Johor will be changing operation days from January 1. Next year, the vehicle inspection company will open from Monday to Friday there, following the state’s official weekend reverting to Saturday and Sunday.
So, Puspakom’s new operation hours in Johor will be 8am to 5.30 pm from Monday to Friday. The break time for staff is 1pm to 2pm except for Fridays, which will see operations paused from 12.30 to 2.30 pm. Once again, this starts from January 1, so take note when planning your vehicle inspection.
In other news, Puspakom said that its Glenmarie branch will be undergoing a system upgrade from December 26, and during the transition, there might be delays in the inspection process. Expect longer waits.

Perhaps Kedah and Kelantan as well as Terengganu should follow suit. I remember Perlis used to be Friday Saturday weekends to in the 80s, but changed in the 90s….
Unless I’m wrong, there isn’t a specific clause in the holy Quran stating weekends to include Fridays?
