Not every number has takers in the JPJ eBid auction – that’s how the rest of us get random ‘running numbers’ if we don’t pay for our pick. This applies to special or rare plates as well, such as the recent WP Putrajaya ‘FG’ plate series.
Eager to not let any of its FG numbers ‘go to waste’ (these releases are created for extra revenue after all), JPJ has announced the offering of remaining FG numbers that survived the JPJ eBid auction, which was held from January 2-6.
Is what you want still available? You can check at the vehicle licensing division at JPJ’s Putrajaya HQ or at state JPJ offices. The SOPs weren’t stated in this announcement, but in previous special plate ‘clearance’ cases, each individual was limited to three applications. To apply, one would need a copy of an IC or business registration cert and a filled JPJ eBid 02 form, which can be downloaded from JPJ’s website.
How much? The remaining FG plates are priced at RM510 each inclusive of a service fee for the ‘popular’ category, or RM310 each for a regular number.

People are getting apprehensive that thousands of rotten commercial vehicles are ” kaotim” by syndicates, roaming anywhere and everywhere.
The kementrian owes the rakyat a duty to ensure clean, untarnished enforcement plus lulus roadworthy vehicles, not “kaotimed rotten vehicles”.
Just disgusting, pathetic ..a pure waste of taxpayers Ringgit.
