MyDigital ID to simplify access to all official platforms, reduce government expenditure – Fahmi Fadzil

Public understanding of the benefits of MyDigital ID needs to be enhanced, as the system not only simplifies user access but also reduces government expenditure, communications minister Fahmi Fadzil has said, according to a Bernama report.

Fahmi, also the spokesperson for the Unity Government, said that the latest status of MyDigital ID implementation will be discussed during the National Council for Digital Economy and Fourth Industrial Revolution Council (MED4IR) meeting on February 12.

“Indeed, there are (two key) issues. First, improving public understanding of the benefits of a single log-in system like MyDigital ID, and second, encouraging agencies developing applications to leverage this single log-in system,” he told reporters after attending the ministry’s monthly assembly yesterday.

Fahmi said the government aspires, through MyDigital ID, to allow all Malaysians to use a single log-in for all government apps so that if they log into MyJPJ, LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) and any government platforms, they do not need to re-enter their personal information or create a new account.

“This will simplify user access and also save costs for the government,” he said, adding that prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim asked for MyDigital ID’s implementation to be sped up; he was dissatisfied with the progress as presented at the most recent MED4IR meeting.

“I believe more comprehensive planning needs to be carried out, and I am confident that the MyDigital ID programme offers significant benefits and we do hope it can be implemented effectively,” Fahmi said.

MyDigital ID is a government initiative designed to provide secure and valid identity verification for online users. It serves as a digital identity authentication platform to enhance the safety and efficiency of online transactions.

It was announced during the Budget 2025 tabling that MyDigital ID will be the central app for government agencies including the road transport department (JPJ), LHDN and the PADU centralised database.

Europe is banning DigitalID because it curbs freedom!!!

“I just left the room where we had negotiations about the digital identity—and I have bad news,” announced Dutch Member of the European Parliament Rob Roos on Wednesday.
On X, in a post attached with a video, he wrote:

BREAKING: Very bad news. The European Parliament and Member States just reached an agreement on introducing the Digital Identity, #eID. Directly afterwards, #EU Commissioner Breton said: “Now that we have a Digital Identity Wallet, we have to put something in it…”, suggesting a connection between #CBDC and eID. They ignored all the privacy experts and security specialists. They’re pushing it all through. I am not optimistic. But it is not too late yet. Parliament still has to vote about this. Let your MEP know that you oppose the Digital Identity and that you want your MEP to vote against it!

    Its about total control
Catherine Austin Fitts, financial expert and Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development during the Bush (H.W.) administration, has long warned about the dangers of CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies).

    Do Not Comply
As George Orwell, Author of 1984, once said,
“Real power is achieved when the ruling class controls the material essentials of life, granting and withholding them from the masses as if they were privileges.”

If this doesn’t end now, what you know as freedom will be turned into privileges that can be turned on and off in an instant. Look to China; that’s what they intend to bring to the West. And digital IDs + CBDCs are the exact tools needed to make it a reality.

“Your access to your financial assets can be denied or stopped if you don’t do what you’re told.” So rather than waiting for complete tyranny to hit you upside the head, it’s more important than ever to start resisting now.

    DO NOT COMPLY!!
