It is Wednesday, which makes it time once again for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, and the ministry of finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of March 13 to 19, 2025.
Some more good news for users of diesel and RON 97 petrol, through the price drops of seven sen per litre and 10 sen per litre, respectively. As such, Euro 5 B10 and B20 diesel fuel will be priced at RM3.06 per litre – thus Euro 5 B7 at 20 sen more per litre will be at RM3.26 per litre, and RON 97 petrol will be at RM3.28 per litre for the coming week, down from the rates of RM3.13 and RM3.38 per litre last week.
No change is applied to the price of RON 95 petrol, which remains at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, March 19, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 11th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 322nd in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
