With the official Malaysian market launch of the Jetour Dashing today, Jetour Auto Malaysia has announced plans for the expansion of its network of sales and service locations in the country.
The brand has announced that it has scheduled to open another 30 3S and 4S centres in Malaysia this year, as the brand adds to its existing footprint of more than 30 sales and service outlets currently in operation, essentially doubling its presence in this market.
Its planned growth aims to have the Jetour brand present nationwide, with the company naming Selangor, Penang, Ipoh, Seremban, Melaka, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak as states which will host the brand’s sales and service outlets. Jetour has also secured a comprehensive inventory of spare parts while ensuring efficient after-sales support, it said.
The Jetour Dashing launched in Malaysia today is available in two variants, the 1.5 TCI Comfort at RM109,800, and the 1.5 TCI Prime at RM116,800. The C-segment SUV sold in Malaysia comes with a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty, as well as a five-time free labour/parts service.
Initially offered as a fully imported (CBU) model for the first 100 units, customer units of the Jetour Dashing are set to be delivered immediately after launch. This will be followed by local assembly (CKD) of the SUV next month, and output will be carried out by Berjaya Assembly in Johor.
