The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced extensive road closures and traffic diversions across several key routes in Malaysia from April 15 to 17, 2025. This is to facilitate the official state visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping.

The traffic investigation and enforcement department (JSPT) said that these temporary closures will affect 17 major roads and highways, primarily within the Klang Valley, Putrajaya and surrounding areas.

According to JSPT director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Haji Hassan Basri, each closure or diversion is expected to last between 30 to 45 minutes to allow the safe passage of the president’s delegation.

A total of 378 police personnel, comprising senior officers and other ranks, will be deployed to escort dignitaries, control traffic and enforce road laws during the affected periods.

The police strongly urge all road users to avoid these routes during the specified times. Motorists should plan their journeys carefully and follow instructions from police officers stationed along the routes.

“The public’s cooperation is vital to ensure smooth traffic flow and the success of security operations during this important state visit,” he said.

Motorists are encouraged to monitor traffic updates through official PDRM channels and remain patient during the temporary closures.

I can’t understand why, noticed a lot of Malaysian are double standard. This road closure due to Xi jin Ping visit there are so many negative comments out there like buat kacau la, unnecessary la, inconvenience la, susahkan orang la , habis la, etc..

However back in 2014, during Obama’s state visit to Malaysia, people are cheering, celebrating, still very happy despite road closure and some said WOW USA Recognize us.
There are road closure as well during that time, isn’t it double standard??!!!!!

That prove that people like the US over middle kingdom. How often do you see news reporting Malaysians being accepted to Peking Uni or Xiamen Uni compared to those accepted into Harvard or MIT? What about report of Malaysians working in middle kingdom institution compared to being accepted to US military college or working at NASA? It shows who has the clout and who doesn’t.

Not hard to guess those complaining are the same group of blowhards who keep telling Malaysians to “go back to tongsan”. You know, the provocateurs who like to use type this type that.
