It’s Wednesday, which means time again for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, with the ministry of finance having announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of April 24 to 30.
There’s no change in the pump price of RON 97 this week, and so the premium petrol continues at the RM3.18 per litre it was at last week. As usual, the price of RON 95 petrol remains at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
Likewise, diesel Euro 5 B10 and B20 grades continue at RM2.88 per litre, and Euro 5 B7 diesel fuel – which is priced at 20 sen more per litre – remains priced at RM3.08 per litre for the coming week. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, April 30, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 17th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 328th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
