Proton partners with Continental Malaysia for tyre services at 60 outlets nationwide; from RM211 for Saga

Proton has announced its strategic collaboration with Continental Malaysia to introduce integrated tyre services at selected Proton service centres nationwide, which will provide sales, installation and aftersales support for tyres from Continental Malaysia.

Proton aims to have 60 outlets nationwide providing the tyre service for customers of all Proton models, and a full rollout of the service across its network will take place by the second quarter of 2026, it stated. Proton customers may now purchase tyres and have them installed during routine service appointments, with prices starting from RM211 per tyre for the Proton Saga.

Included in the tyre service is the tyre manufacturer’s Total Confidence Plan (TCP), a one-year warranty against road hazards, providing a one-to-one tyre replacement in the event of unforeseen circumstances, says Proton. Additionally, greater payment flexibility is offered through the Direct Lending financing facility that offers customers the choice of paying for tyre purchases through monthly instalments.

“While Proton’s headlines over the past few years have focused on our strong sales performance and the launch of new models, we’ve also been investing heavily in after sales services to elevate the customer experience at our authorised service centres. Introducing tyre replacement services is the next step in transforming our 3S/4S centres into complete one-stop centres,” said Proton Edar CEO Roslan Abdullah.
