Malaysian fuel prices June 2025 week 1 – diesel down 3 sen to RM2.77/litre; RON97 unchanged, RM3.10/litre

It’s Wednesday again, and so it’s time once more for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, with the ministry of finance having announced the retail price of fuel for the coming week of May 29 to June 4, 2025.

The price of RON 97 petrol is unchanged for the coming week, and so the price of the premium fuel remains at the RM3.10 per litre it was at last week. As for RON 95 petrol, the fuel stays at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.

Diesel fuel users will however pay less for the fuel in the coming week, with a three sen drop in Euro 5 B10 and B20 grades bringing the price of these down to RM2.77 per litre. This means that Euro 5 B7 grade – which is priced at 20 sen more per litre – has been adjusted to RM2.97 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, June 4, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 22nd edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 333rd in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.

We know that ron 95 price should also go down based on current global oil price. But, us madani supporters, we must support government decision not reduce oil price because only then we can get projects. You can see how much money our mykiosk suppliers are making. We can be rich too if we support madani.

Still waiting for Pakatan Kencing Rakyat to fulfill their promise above.
Their formulaman now is gone but PMX cannot shift the blame of that promise to him.
