It is Wednesday, which means that it is once again time for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, and the finance ministry has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of June 5 to 11, 2025.
A bit more relief this way comes, for users of diesel and premium petrol in Peninsular Malaysia. The price of RON 97 petrol will reduce by three sen per litre to RM3.07 per litre in the coming week, down from the RM3.10 per litre rate of last week. The price of RON 95 petrol remains where it is, at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
Likewise for diesel fuel consumers, where the retail price of the Euro 5 B10 and B20 grades similarly drops by three sen, to RM2.74 per litre. As such, the Euro 5 B7 grade which is priced at 20 sen more per litre will thus be RM2.94 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, June 11, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 23rd edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 334th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
