Today is Wednesday, which means that it is time once again time for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, with the finance ministry having announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of June 26 to July 2, 2025.
Fuel prices increase once again this week in Peninsular Malaysia, by the same amounts; RON 97 petrol takes a hike by seven sen to RM3.21 per litre this week, up from RM3.14 per litre rate of last week. RON 95 petrol continues to be unchanged, at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
Prices of diesel fuels follow suit, with Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends climbing seven sen to RM2.88 per litre, up from RM2.81 per litre last week. Thus, the price of Euro 5 B7 diesel, at its pricing that is 20 sen more per litre, should go to RM3.08 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, July 2, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 26th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 337th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
