GWM Malaysia records 20.2% sales increase in 1H 2025, surpassing full-year sales volume in 2024

GWM Malaysia has announced that it has recorded its best-ever first-half performance in 1H 2025, and in doing so the carmaker has surpassed its full-year sales performance in 2024 in six months, it said.

The carmaker’s achievement also represented a 20.3% growth in the first six months year-on-year, and GWM says this indicates strong upward momentum heading into the second half of 2025. As with its full-year sales performance last year, the brand did not reveal the number of vehicles it has sold in Malaysia.

The GWM brand is placed within the top three Chinese automotive brands in the country, says GWM Malaysia. Products launched by the brand in Malaysia this year include the Tank 500, priced at RM328,800 on-the-road without insurance.

Meanwhile, the Haval H6 HEV – which was launched locally in October 2024 – was officially listed in the ASEAN Records for achieving the longest range on a single tank of fuel.

In terms of its service network, GWM Malaysia launched a 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in Taman Malim Permai, Melaka in May this year, bringing it to a total of 26 showrooms and service centres for the brand in the country.

Our first-half performance reflects the strength of our product portfolio and the growing recognition of GWM as a serious automotive player in Malaysia. We are committed to continue pushing boundaries and delivering products that matter to our Malaysian community,” said GWM Malaysia COO Roslan Abdullah.

I m not complaining about GWM QC.
I m concerned the Roslan dude will screw up things at the Great Wall.
When at P1,he keep giving excuses, while Geely Dr Li is trying to get his bunch of DRB suppliers to lower prices of spare parts.
Dont brand people with differing opinions as haters.

You clearly have no clue of what you are talking about . Toyota is recalling soooo many of their Newer vehicles like the Sequoia, Tundra, Tacoma, Highlander, 4Runner, Gr Corolla , Gr Yaris and more due to engine-fire risk, faulty brakes, Battery degradation , Excessive oil consumption and more.
Even cars like the Hilux and Fortuner are NOT spared from these issues.
One last thing, if people still think Toyota is still a reliable car brand, then I guess these people are still living in the past.
