On July 10, this will be from 7am outbound from accommodations to KLCC, then from 5pm back to their accommodations. Diversions will be repeated that evening from 7pm outbound to KLCC, and then the return from 10am back to their accommodations.

Finally on July 11, diversions will be from 7am until delegation arrivals at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) are completed, according to the statement by PDRM JSPT.

Road users are advised to plan journeys in advance, and are encouraged to use public transport to make way for the motorcades on the affected routes.

Commercial and heavy vehicles are advised to not enter the Kuala Lumpur city centre throughout the duration of the road diversions, especially during peak times to reduce traffic congestion as well as to reduce the risk of damage to vehicles and of road accidents, the statement continued.

These VIPS should absolutely be stuck in traffic together with any other normal rakyat. Ashamed of letting their VIP guests see our bad traffic? Yes, they should be so ashamed. Parroting “change change change” but in the end back to the same old same old build more highways, enrich more cronies, sell more cars, create more chaos and traffic.

For God’s sake we have Putrajaya for these sort of things ! Why can’t these type of government meeting be held in the administrative capital where security is much easier to maintain & far less trouble for the public?
