Malaysian fuel prices July 2025 week three – diesel up 3 sen to RM2.91/litre, RON97 up 3 sen to RM3.21/litre

Today is Wednesday, which means it is once again time for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia. The finance ministry has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week, of July 17 to 23, 2025.

The hikes for the retail prices of fuels come once again, this time for RON 97 petrol as well as diesel fuels in Peninsular Malaysia for the coming week. RON 97 petrol climbs to RM3.21 per litre, up three sen from the RM3.18 per litre price of last week. As before, RON 95 petrol continues at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre as determined by the Malaysian government in February 2021.

Diesel fuels in Peninsular Malaysia climb by the same amount, three sen to RM2.91 per litre for the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends, up from RM2.88 per litre last week. As such, the Euro 5 B7 blend, which costs 20 sen more per litre, should climb to RM3.11 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, July 23, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 29th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 340th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
