Many have been waiting patiently for this, and today’s the day. KTM has announced that ticket sales for its ETS and Intercity services for the period of January 1 to April 30, 2026 will be open for sales from 10am today, November 17.
There will be a new timetable for the ETS and Intercity starting from January 1. Both Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri fall in the first quarter of next year, and train tickets for these two festival periods are hot commodities, so you’ll have to buy fast to avoid disappointment.
What’s new for next year’s CNY and Raya balik kampung travel is that the ETS has reached the south and those from Segamat and Kluang in Johor will be able to take the train home to celebrate for the first time. However, note that tickets for the Ekspres Selatan service for January 2026 will not be released for now.
