Overview
The Leapmotor C10 is a D-segment electric SUV with five seats, rear-wheel drive and a single-speed automatic transmission. Launched in Malaysia in 2024, it suits buyers who want an EV with family-sized space rather than the smallest possible footprint. Prices start from RM129,000.

Which variant to buy
There are two variants: RWD at RM129,000 and Plus at RM139,000. The RWD gets a 69.9 kWh battery, 420 km range and 215 hp, which is enough if daily use is the priority. The RM10,000 step to Plus buys the larger 81.9 kWh battery, 510 km range and 295 hp. Pick Plus if you do more highway mileage or want the stronger motor; otherwise the RWD already covers the core C10 brief.

Verdict
The C10’s main case is size, space and practicality in an electric SUV format. It is not the cheapest EV SUV around: the Perodua QV-E, Seres 3, BYD Atto 2, Neta X and BYD Atto 3 all start lower. But the C10 is a larger D-segment model, and the Plus adds a meaningful jump in range and power for a RM10,000 difference.
