The 2026 Proton X90 MC is the current-generation update launched for 2026. The big mechanical change is the switch to the 1.5T i-GT four-cylinder petrol engine and the deletion of the earlier 48V mild-hybrid system. The range is now three variants: Lite, Prime and Prime X. The exterior looks much the same as before. It also loses ADAS, and the ASEAN NCAP rating is now one star.
