The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT (C192) is a two-seat sports coupe for buyers who want a petrol AMG flagship rather than a practical grand tourer. Malaysia gets the GT63 4Matic+, priced from RM 1,882,888, with a 3,982 cc twin-turbo V8, 577 hp and a wet dual-clutch automatic.

The C192 AMG GT enters 2026 with the GT63 4Matic+ as the regular Malaysian range. AMG GT news in 2026 also includes the GT63 Pro Motorsport Collectors Edition for Malaysia, with 612 PS and an estimated RM2,588,888 price, but that is not the standard listed variant here. The new AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is a separate EV model, not this two-seat coupe.

The AMG GT is brutally expensive beside the named sports coupe rivals here: even the Lotus Emira starts at RM 1,131,800, while the Toyota GR Supra, Ford Mustang, Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ sit much lower. What the Mercedes brings is the full-fat GT63 formula: two seats, a twin-turbo V8 and 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Buy it for that, not for price sense.
