The Mk8.5 Golf GTI launched in 2025 and carries into 2026 in DSG form, with a 1,984 cc 261 hp petrol engine, front-wheel drive and five seats. Its facelift debut brought new technology and physical buttons. A 50-unit Malaysian allocation adds Huntsville Adamantium Dark alloy wheels at no extra cost. The Sepang Edition also arrived in 2025 with VAP seven-year maintenance.
