You’ve seen Tom Hardy and ex-F1 driver Mika Salo tackle the ‘Road of Bones’ in the extreme -56ºC Siberian cold in Episode 1, and you’ve watched Henry Cavill and ex-British Superbike champion Neil Hodgson take on China’s Taklimakan Desert in the blistering 50ºC heat in Episode 2 – now it’s time for a wet and humid climate we know and recognise all too well.
The third and final episode of the Shell Helix Driven to Extremes series, set in the jungles of Ulu Sedili, Johor during the monsoon season, will be aired on the Discovery Channel (Astro 551) this Wednesday at 8.00 pm.
The team journey along the Ulu Sedili Trail, tackling slippery roads, dangerous insects, swollen rivers, and fallen trees along the way, before reaching their destination – Kampong Peta, at the fringe of the Endau Rompin National Park. How will Adrien Brody, Mika Salo and their team of mechanics fare in their Nissan Patrol, filled with Shell Helix fully synthetic motor oil?
