Persiaran Surian users, take note. There will be a short-term rerouting on the stretch of road directly in front of Sierra Damansara – MMC-Gamuda has issued a statement saying that night traffic contra-flow for the stretch will take place for the next 43 days, beginning from today.
The night traffic contra-flow will be implemented from today until February 15, and will run from 11 pm to 6 am daily. The reason for the rerouting is to facilitate segment and launching gantry works on the MRT section of the area.
Motorists from Persiaran Surian heading towards Sungai Buloh will be diverted into the opposite lane from Persiaran Surian/Persiaran Mahogani Intersection until the junction to Jalan Camar. During this contra-flow, one lane will be made available to motorists in both LDP- and Sungai Buloh-bound directions.
Motorists and residents of Casa Indah 1 & 2, who wish to enter/exit their respective condominiums, are advised to make a U-turn at the junction of Persiaran Surian to Jalan Camar. A traffic flagman will be stationed to assist Casa Indah 1 & 2 residents during this night contra-flow.

Persiaran Surian is an impossible road on the best of days, the jam there can take more than an hour to head from Kota Damansara to Mutiara Damansara.
With the contra-flow, its going to be even worst…even if it is only for the night.
The LDP contra flow has also ended up eating shit. No matter how you juggle the contra flow, the bottle neck (Federal Highway) has not been addressed to it was an excercise in futility. With the contra flow, now the jam is both ways.
Good riddance, they have just started to improve along Jalan Surian road safety but please report the road condition first and foremost. Freaking potholes again.
