The first batch of 270 Chinese-made Brilliance BS6 sedans by Brilliance China Automotive Holdings have been shipped to Germany. The BS6 has undergone Euro NCAP crash tests and managed a score of 3 stars. The BS6 is the size of big D-segment cars like the 5-Series and the E-Class but will go head to head against cheaper rivals like the Hyundai Sonata. Under the hood is an ancient 2.4 litre inline-4 from Mitsubishi with only 130hp.

The chinese will be giving almost every car manufacturer a big sweat in a few more years. Just think they didn’t really exist some 10 years ago. Just think of the combined “copied” technology of the Japanese, Koreans and Europeans.
first impression, quite a nice sedan and very China, lol~
and the engine is from dinosaur era, so i guess that we can forget about the performance and handling……
Not the most stressful time for BMW, Merc and Audi engineers, must be said
Looks typically chinese, but the engine is at the boring side. i’ll be it suck alot of fuel on this car.
if you just happen to know anybody in germany who drives this thing, its advised to best avoid any contact with him
A car that looks good with poor interior design and terrible engine. Can this car pass the Euro4 emission?
going against German’s ain’t a good idea. The design looks like one of those Korean made chairman branded cars.

my LMG shuttle with that old 2.4 mitsubishi engine also doesn’t feel powerful at all. it’s freaking hard to sell off.
why the heck they export to Germany….over ambitious i think…
