VIDEO SPYSHOT: Not one, but TWO Proton MPVs on the PLUS Highway!

Proton MPV

The Proton MPV has been spotted yet again – this time not just one but two of them traveling at the same time on the PLUS Highway. This video was shot by reader crash and as it was shot from the passenger side, he was able to turn the camera around abit more as the car he was in passed by the two Proton MPVs so that we can see a little more of how the front looks like. Still not as clear as we’d all hope to try to make out details but we are able to judge better the general shape of the front of the car from the angle in this video. Look after the jump to watch the video.

It looks as big as Naza Ria. If it is priced right I suppose it will be a hit for those with big families. Hopefully they will do thorough QC before releasing the car.

I personally think if P1 really want to do a real road test and keep secret about their MPV, they can choose a highway less travel.. Why they use PLUS..? I think this just a FREE upcoming promotion for the buyer before the launch… Just like they purposely leaked the NEO picture on the net before…

This video is much more clear to see abouth the actual shape and size of the P1 new MPV. It looks a bit bulky and boxy for the body…doesn’t look that stylish like Estima nor Grandis.

It was good job for proton to test it in real road, to get real feel of the car. But to thing 2 MPV at one time, just like Satria Neo last time then make me have this idea. May be there are 2 type of engine that Proton testing at same time. It can be IAFM and CPS for the Neo last time, or may be this MPV having prototype campro turbo or 1.8 CPS…

    lol @ abtm’s suggestion. That’s true.

Anyway, I also feel that all these ‘leaked’ videos and images are a publicity stunt by Proton themselves. (Ref. comment @ food_fan)

For all you know the people behind the recording devices used are paid to do it.

Back to the MPV…I somewhat feel its a marketing ploy to tease and test the market…looking for responses….hoping for positive ones and also…negative comments, eg. as attached…hehe…

but it does looks promising, eager for more complete picture…

i think the reasons for using hiway are:
*low people/lane ratio i.e. less people compared to crowded town.
    *FC test for long journey.
*shah alam to tg malim & back.

i can’t comment on the exterior yet as it is taped & video isn’t that clear.

    btw,
driving & using hp at the same time are forbidden by law.
not driving & using hp at the same time are not forbidden by law. (passanger la)

the mpv is driven quite fast, look at the car speed meter, maybe at 120kmph. btw, dont judge the shape is boxy and not stylish, it is not the final look. now what is important is to see the mpv size, not the correct time to see is there stylish or not. wait till it launch to see it stylishness. and by that time, u can add some skirting, and sure it damn cool!!

Back looks like Kenari. Hope the workers assembling the proton cars (and the QC personnels) pay more attention the the fit and finish so that no more kok kok (ke)! Proton is improving but they need to gain back the confidence of public, including me who have bad experience with 2005/6 Waja! This MPV should be priced below 80K in whole malaysia, otherwise many will go for GL.

It’s bulky. Ya, agreed the front looks like Neo as well, but hopefully they pull the front lamp to the side wider.. slightly wider, and the grille appear longer too. The rear are simply too bulky, like Naza Ria. Well, with this chassis, 7 orang muat dalam, the video was running like 110-120? How’re they going to make it when it’s an emergency brake?
(Honestly, darm impressive with the driver up there, chasing them like~but i think the Mpvs were trying to run away from them too..lol)

woi.. i also drive bmw la.. dont la lump me in together with mr. alpina. Some bmw owners have more intelligence to post constructive comments and can type our more than 2 words ok? ;)

anyways.. i find it strange that some people actually think that proton would pay someone to take spyshots and leak them out.. why pay someone to do it when you have the actual prototypes, just get some staff to shoot the darn cars and send it to paul la.. and its for FREE.

but the facts are, proton are not doing anything out of the ordinary. all car manufacturers around the world do this. its call real-world testing. just because the pic of them on the highway is shown, doesnt mean they dont test in country roads. from what i’ve seen and read in the past about proton’s testing, these cars will definitely be destined for the australian desert for hot weather testing, maybe scandinavia for cold weather testing, and they will definitely need to crash a few cars also to meet regulations for countries that it will be exported too.

if you live in the UK, or germany..etc.. there are also opportunities to see camo’ed cars being tested on public roads.

If the Proton MPV is indeed based on a Chery Eastar platform, I hope that it can at least get 3 stars (if not 4) for Crash Test. Most made in China cars perform very badly in crash test, scary when you compare it against the Europeans or even Japanese cars. Heck, even the Rondo performed very well during the crash test.

They have their own legal department with their own full time working lawyers u know?

China made platform do performed badly in crash test not only due to the design, yet the grade of raw steel they use are terrible. Just imagine there are almost all of the steel angle bar(we call it “L” bar) selling in China is not in 90 degree….and easily bend over compare with the same thickness of Malaysia’s angle bar…

Like you said not all BMW owners are arrogant or things like that, just one person and they gave bad impression already. I know a gentleman who drives a shiny black Z4 living next to my mom’s house and he’s really a very nice person. (He also owns BMW 7 too..! ) He didn’t mind to ride in my old smelly Proton to go to a place or two. Many times.

In our friend’s case here, he should be okay. Hopefully his Beemer will be in very, very good shape in the long run, like for another 50 more years. As for me I only drive my dream BMW 3 sports in,.. where else,… in my dream only lah !

Front looks like the current Saga and from B pillar onwards it looks like the designer went to have a teh-tarik. The lines after the B pillar just goes straight up and the lines just stop abruptly at the tailgate. With the tailgate design to suit like a old mini van’s door.

The only plus point of this is that headroom and space will be generous at the back especially but design wise it looks as amateurish as when the Waja, Gen-2 first came out.

Was interested about the concept of a Proton MPV but now looking at the design in toto, it just doesn’t cut it. I doubt the performance is going to be anything but yawningly . Another Proton in the bin. Sorry to say that.

It look fast enough but it wasn’t an issue.. because the more important is how it start to move from 0kmh with a low RPM.

i like the front part. On the rear, its like ‘kotak’ shape. hopefully, P1 will do something about it,when it comes into production.

at least, this mpv not as bulky as ssyangyong one…

I would suggest to those who trying to comment it looks, to hold on first, because the vehichle is camoufludged…Camoufludge simply means that it suppose to look different and deceiving from the original design so that no one can have an idea how the design looks like! Please understand the term camoufludge first before commenting on the exterior design!

    Cheers!

the police should ban these Proton mules from the public roads, with half of paultan.org readers sacrificing their lives just to grab a fuzzy photo someone is gonna get hurt sooner or later…

    _______________________

firstly all car companies have to test their cars on the public roads at some point of time, not only proton and secondly if they don’t test the cars on the public road they will never know how the car will will perform outside the test facility.

anyway the mpv doesn’t look that bad considering that it is a taped up test mule. i noticed that the rims are just normal steel wheels on these test mules unlike the mpvs in the other shots.

    Agreed with si-fu…

you guys are very hard to please laa… boxy design will improve space and headroom… when it comes to Proton, some of us just shut their eyes (and perception) that Proton cars will never be good enough for them. A little bit of “boxiness” (if there is such a word) here and there is current trend for car design from what I see… but it’s not as boxy as Toyota Alphard, right? (surpised that no one mention that “King of BOXY MPV”… Why? Because it is a Toyota right….)

    Si-fu…

The spelling is camouflage la… Not camoufludge.

Anyhow to all readers, it is normal for prototype cars to be disguised. To hide its real shape. Usually they will put special 3M tape with corrugated plastic or foam behind it to hide the real shape. For the P6-20A Proton MPV prototype seen on the road, the rear tailgate, most of the rear quarter, part of the doors and the front quarter is covered with camouflage.

Yes development cars are suppose to be camouflaged but then when I look at the pictures, the new MPV seems hardly camouflaged save for the black paint.

Anyway since they are going to release the car within the next six months, I doubt this is much ofa development car for the exterior but more of the mechanics, hence the road testing. MEaning to say the exterior is pretty much final.

If the car is truly camouflaged and disguised as claimed here, I would breath a sigh of relief and the boxiness after the B pillar is horrible.

Why no one say alphard is a boxy car? Because the lines are more cohesive and mantains a good balance between practicality (i.e. space) and sharp looks (sharp front). In another words, the design gels together. Of course I won’t deny the brand and the reputation helps, but like all automotive brands, brand image is very important.

As for proton, we all have given it one too many of a chance. It’s hard to give it serious consideration when all we get in return is disappointment.

    Guys….
Can we please concentrate on discussing & giving out opinions on this MPV. Enuff with all the bad experience you all had. Everybody has had some. But 2 thing to take into consideration :

    1) The percentage of Lemon cars is actually not high. The only reason there are soo many is because Proton produces a lot of cars in Malaysia. IF you look at percentage wise, i think Mercedes is one of the worst. Majority of the S calss that came had problems with airdcond not functioning properly.

    2) The bad experience you all had was under the old management where customer satisfaction was never theire priority. Only profit. The new management is going a very good job. Defect wise, at least under new management, engine takda knocking noise. The new civic (8th gen) had a lot of problem, but becoz it’s a honda, semua diam. The lesson here is no matter how many years of experience u have (like honda) there will always be teething problems. Soo, give them a chance to rectify it.

Back to this MPV : For the side, it does not look sporty at all, but the objective is for more room. (nanti sporty mcm gen2, complain tak cukup headroom), but interetingly, from the back, it somehow looks as if it is low. Rendah macam the new Honda Oddysee (RA1). If this is true, then the handling should be closer to a cars instead od a van (eg, Avanza & Innova). Length wise, it looks really long. The third row window alone makes it look as if it’s gonna be longger than a Naza Ria. i still cant comment on the front end as the picture are quite blur.

Si-fu, I’m curious. Does Proton top mgmt knows about you participation on this site? As a Proton employee, surely you have signed “memorandum of secrecy”. If you are coming here entirely on you own, you are taking great risks. Somehow, I suspect that Proton plants (sorry for lack of a better word) you here to inform / generate interests / gauge public reception ?

Proton chief designer, Azlano (azlano.wordpress.com) does not reveal much. In fact he basically reveals nothing! But you are different. Your information borders on being “ISA”ed by Proton.

Of course if you are planted here, you won’t admit it! What a silly question to ask!!

to be fair to sifu, he is not revealing that much, but confirming what is in the press and to deny certain claims made by other readers. Its not like he said the engine will be a 1.8 turbo CPS producing 160 HP / 240 NM but to say that the engine will be powerful enough. Anyone can also say that right.

hi to all forummers & assalamualaikum for muslim
    for me,sagaknight…
penantian mpv proton yg pertama ini…
    bagaikan menantikan kemunculan…
    kereta nasional pertama..
    proton saga

    perasaan gembira,sedih,bangga,benci others~
    bayangkan sebelum itu rakyat malaysia
    sebati dengan datsun,honda,toyota,mitsu yg mampu
    dibeli
    opel,mini,bemmer,merc yg mahal2
    tiba2 ada saga,buatan malaysia
    macam2 kata keluar…
    setiap perincian(emblem,stering,wheel cap,engine,speedometer)
apa agaknya komen2 sesetengah ‘golongan’ ini nanti?…
    hah~

    sekadar berkongsi cerita….
childhood time tak silap masa tu i 6 old
my late dad bawa sebuah saga warna putih ke rumah…
    saya ingat kereta baru..
tapi pinjam sebab my dad car, datsun 120y kena tahan kat workshop…
    lama juga pinjam….
i selalu suka tengok kereta saga tu…
    semacam satu perasaan..
dlm hati i harap dad akan tukar kereta kpd saga…
    tapi tak kesampaian~…….

fasal power window, rear window manual stone age,
gap bumper, side mirror guna manual, glove box tak rapat…
pintu tak lembut, tak kedap bila tutupla…
    gegar dashboard gegar sana sini…
    material too plasticy…
    stering tak cunla….
    gearknob like swordla…
    no dual,sixth,ten airbag,curtainla,sidela…
abs ada tapi tak ada ebdla,ba,traction ctrl….
    badan tin milo,sandar sikit kemek…
    crash rating 3starla….
    kepala cecah bumbung pulak…
    underpoweredla…
    still guna 4 A/T transla…
copy that copy this copy therela…
i agree,as consumer we deserve good and satisfy product
with the every ringgit we pay for buy it….
with hardworking,we collect and save for buy a car…
seolah2 masalah tu macam tak ada solve way….
    tribunal ada,law,lawyer semua saluran ada…
    gunakan…
    pendapat i, ia terletak mcmmna
    sesuatu management tu mengurus syarikat…
kalau nak untung lebih, kualiti no 2…
    tak puas hati customer…
    kalau customer need jadi keutamaan….
    insyallah,kepercayaan bertambah…

    fasal kroni,politik dlm proton…
    i tak dapat komen sebab
    tak pasti kebenarannya…

    melihat senario skrg…
    dibawah datuk syed zainal….
    nampak positif setakat ini…
    model2 pasca mitsu diberhentikan
    secara beransur2,betul ke si-fu?
i hope datuk syed zainal boleh
    kekalkan momentum proton skrg ini

    baik,buruk,lawa tak lawa,kuat tak kuat
,kualiti atau tak sesebuah proton itu bukan semuanya
terletak di seluruh bahu warga proton…
mereka yang paling atas itulah mula2 menentukan…
    management,share holder….
approve how the final design, material, engine etc…

jika management, share, partner wise in make result…
insyallah, byk hati customer boleh ditawan dgn
    produk yg dikeluarkan…

itulah harapan i for the new proton management….

ok,kalau proton ditutup atau langsung tidak wujud…
    tapi….
i rasa sedih akhirnya kata2 spt org melayu nak buat
jarum pun tak mampu inikan nak buat mobil…
    jadi kenyataan….
dah tak mampu buat jarum sendiri….
    beli je lah barang luar…
    bukan setakat kereta,barang2 lain lg
    menguntungkn ekonomi sebelah pihak…
andaikata kata2 tadi tu diganti dengan
    orang malaysia,how your feeling?

i harap jugak kepada yang membenci proton
atau merasakan menyusahkan kalau ada proton
tak perlu susah payah keluar komen yg rubbish…
beli kereta bukan proton dan gunakan
    for u life,work,family…semua senang,sukahati
    komen2 yg rubbish sesungguhnya menyinggung
perasaan, tak kira orang proton atau tak….
    susah payah keringat bakat dikeluarkn….
dibalas dgn komen yang memedihkan hati…
    manusia sesama manusia,fikirlah…
kalau golongan ni nak berkomen jugak…
    diharapkan yg membina,kritis!
    kita rakyat malaysia yang bertamadun…

i pun ada juga model proton yang i tak suka…
tapi tak perlu sampai i kutuk kaw2…
    kalau tak suka,buat tak tahujelah…
    pergi ke model yg lain…
    banyak pilihankan?

Hi guys, thx for being concerned about me! Actually i am entirely on my own here and i am putting my job on the line same as the other employees in here when they give their comment. Thats why when i comment on anything, i will be carefull because i am tied up to the company secrecy act. So as some of u guys notice here, my comments are mostly general and i dont reveal anything unless it has already been out officially like the Waja replacement model by the MD himself! Actually my main aim posting comments here is to educate u guys wat proton has been doing actually all these years, how they are developing and learning day by day! I do this because, many people still have bad perception on Proton, like we have now, Proton tiru lah, copy lah, follow lah, ni lah, tu lah…mcm mcm. U can call it as a perspective from an insider! Malaysians still thinks that making and developing a car is as easy as 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C! I personnally wanna try to change this perception. I can see that the technology week organized by proton has changed many people’s perspective but not many enough! As for my comments, u can see the style of my comments, i dont agree but i deny. I agree for issues that has already been known but not confirmed. I also dont reveal info’s that are not supposed to be revealed.

    Cheers!

I think it is much impossible that the engine will be 1.8 with turbocharging. Because the current bore x stroke for 1.6 is 76 and 88. The stroke is considered very high. In order to become 1.8, bore must be raised about 4mm more? I do not know how to calculate, but certainly, if a turbo plan is on, it is very unlikely the it will be bored to 1.8 as turbocharging need a thicker block to reserve the rigidity. 1.6 with turbo will be great enough isnt it? 145~160ps will be a good figure for MPV. Proton should employ the same plan as Fiat and VW. An engine, many variants.

Well its good to know about the development of Proton and as for me still waiting for new Waja….CPS engine is good but the exterior must be revamped. And of course don’t set the price in the region of new Honda City premium..90k like that.

INVECS II is actually a Artificial Intelligence Logic system that the TCU (Transmission Control Unit). U can say as the decider between the engine input and output ( trans). The hardware which is the transmission itself, is a different story. I can bravely say, that each manufacturer that uses gearbox frm mitsu, mitsu itself or any other manufacturer for that matter, has different settings for each model. Because, in a gearbox, u have 2 variables that u can manipulate to obtain the on wheel results that u wan, which is the TCU calibration and the gear ratio’s. So as a conclusion, i doubt the gearbox is same with Mitsu Grandis.

naikmotoje, nice pictures u have there! Will be a good teaser for the readers here!

INVECS II is actually an Artificial Intelligence Logic system that the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) has. Thats the name that mitsu gave to it. Its not the gearbox code name or something like dat.

Too those who worship Toyota, you might wants to read this article:

“Within the past year, the deaths of two Toyota employees were found, under Japanese law, to have been caused by overwork.

Then in June, a downtown stabbing spree by a disgruntled worker at a Toyota subsidiary stunned Japan. The incident, which left seven dead, prompted further public scrutiny of the country’s leading automaker. Some questioned whether its aggressive cost cuts were putting a stressful squeeze on its employees.

Much of the emerging criticism applies to Japanese companies generally, and Toyota is far from the worst offender. But Toyota stands out as this nation’s model company and has been widely praised for turning worker empowerment into a key driver of sales and profit growth.”

    http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/09/10/business/AS-FEA-Japan-Two-Sides-of-Toyota.php

At least, here in Malaysia I have yet to heard anybody died due to overwork….

For one, the Chery MPV has a wheelbase of 2800mm while the Proton MPV will be between 2700-2800mm. The Chery MPV also uses multilink suspension at the rear while the Proton MPV uses a torsion beam. Saying two models have the same underpinings based on looks doesn’t make sense.

paul, are u sure it will use torsion beam suspension for the rear. My personal experience with torsion beam (for the Tiara / Citroen ZX) is that the rear tends to bottom out under a heavy load. I always thought that torsion beam is the poor man’s suspension, we don’t see BMW or Benz using torsion beam. Just like Vios / Altis and even the new Nissan models, its a rip off.

Paul Tan says: Yes, spoke with Proton engineers at the Proton Technology Week plus the bare chassis was there for display which revealed its rear torsion beam. Torsion beam offers less flexibility in tuning ride and handling… but even the European Honda Civic Type R uses torsion beam. Same goes for the Megane R26.R we saw earlier.

    http://www.mychery.net/forum/bin/ut/topic_show.cgi?id=522583&pg=1&age=0&bpg=1&del=&stamp=1223739756

does this look like proton MPV at all??maybe the doors are but check honda stream doors, mitsu grandis, toyota wish and some european models..all have similar rear door shape..maybe that the best was to design a seven seater MPV door.

compare with this pic…you can see alot of difference between chery easter n Proton MPV..or wait till the final product…

    http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3/albirri/MPV2.jpg

    CFA28,

torsion beams are not outdated..they have been there for like centuries, tats y many feel its old and outdated..but they have been refined and offer performance very similar to those multi links,z arms, super multilinks and all those fancy names…

why i say its similar performance..first it acts like a large stablizer bar thats the reason many off roader used to have torsion beam like suspension..

they distribute load more evenly but in term of handling…their response are slow plus tuning it will be harder but MPV are not performance orientated vechicle and the have to work under high loads compared to cars plus longer wheelbase…

so load distribution during cornering very important..and etc

forget engineering term and all…its hard to explain..

simple way to say…torsion beam is was much cheaper to produce and also design..so we can get cheaper MPV and proton can save some time and money on the design term….

cheaper to maintain…dont have to change mutliple bushes, wishbones, arms and etc(like many waja owner would have experienced)

plus wont have the noise that many waja anwers complain about…

save alot of space and ride height too..u can put the spring and absorber separately…and interior space as well!!

no need to adjust rear wheel alignments but many modern cars do have to since torsion beams have been improving to give more grip…

    minimise tyre wear!!!very important feature!!

so you gain so many things and the only sacrifies is tuneability, performance and handling wont be like gen2 or waja…but know proton and lotus..and based on savvy(since it uses a torsion beam)handling will be greater than other MPVs on the road now!!

Torsion beam in short wheelbase car like euro CIVIC R & Megane makes them tend to be tail happy, some said it will aid the FF understeer problem.

For Proton MPV, I believe few factors has been considered.
    1) Cost
    2) More Room as this setup is smaller, employ much lesser space
    3) Straight road comfortness

Prem3377, u seem to have quite a bit of knowledge of cars. Good for u! R u in the automotive industry?
Regarding the choice over torsion beam with mc-phearson suspension systems, the main reason for tis mpv and also some other mpv’s to use torsion beam set up is to reduce, wat they call ‘cabin intrusion’. This means, when the mpv carries full load, and it bottoms out (it suppose to bottom out), there will be less or no intrusion of the suspension to the mountings, simply meaning the suspension wont be maximumly displaced. When u use a multilink mc-phearson strut, it tend to max out easily on heavy loads because of the spring characteristics (spring constant value, and the deflection is linear up to a certain extend only in reality). This happens because the spring and the absorber is in one assembly, i.e, one piece! If u look at the torsion beam arrangement, the spring and the absorber is placed separately and usually the absorber and spring is placed in an angle to provide the ‘torsion’ effect’. So under heavy loads, the torsion effect of the absorber and spring will resist it from reaching the limits of displacement.
Another advantage of using torsion beam, it distributes the load better, because it has to surfaces to distribute its load and force, thus providing better comfort . U dont want an MPV that has a bumpy ride, do you?
Other then that, torsion beam set up has a fixed chamber, toe, and caster angle. So under heavy loads, ur real wheel alignment wont lari. If use mc-phearson, like waja, the alignment will lari easily under extreme load situations.
However, as u guys mentioned above, ride and handling will be sacrificied abit, because mc-phearson struts tend to be stiffer since its in one assembly. But here, lotus will do their part as we can see the results from savvy. Ride and handling wont be that bad la…i can assure that!

    Cheers!

    Just open this blog site….

By using search engine, type in…J Blog Perodua MPV

Same as Myvi, the next perodua next mpv is totally xerox from this model (Toyota Passo Sette). The different is exterior look and some interior design which adapted to Malaysian taste. The front bumper is same as Viva but with bigger emblem(just like latest edition of Myvi). The headlamp is just like Gen-2 profile (tiger eye) but not exactly same.

I hope that Mr Theopilius will come out latest version of photoshop picture adapted to this Passo.

I wonder, how to calculate a car FC with HP and bodyweight ? I heard that the less value u got, the more suitable the engine is, am i rite ?

Im doing for some researh about this, cant find the formula la, anyone can help? give me example also !

    God.of.War,

FC and HP not related(in the sense of real life FC for example:everday driving) but (for engine FC and hp are related because the higher the HP per litre output the lower the FC la..simple!!calculate frm the graph put can get answer)..so there is no such formula but torque Nm & weight(kg) are related but still that does not relate to FC so conclusion is there is no formula to calculate FC with HP or Nm because FC does not only depends on the engine alone but Cd drag coefficient (aerodynamic of the vehicle),tyre resistance, gradient of road, habit of driving, stress on engine, downforce(Cd also) and so many things la

thats why most manufacturers run the car in controled enviroment usually on threadmill like machine and run the car at 90 km/h (the most efficient running speed) and give the FC value after getting the value frm exhaust gasses…

so i am sure to get the real life FC in a formula its not possible yet…but if you wanna know FC of the engine..findout the HP calculation formula usually based on per litre fuel burn…and you can know or there will be graphs which u can findout…

    ——————————

just saw this comment on the alphard.. i’m sorry man.. but to me, the ultimate boxy car is the alphard. i even think its boxier than than the juara coz it very large size accentuates its boxiness..

i cannot see anything in there that gels except for the fact that it has geometric symetry, ie. boxy.

but boxiness in itself isnt a bad thing, but in the alphards case, its not only boxy, but downright ugly.

and for the life of me, i cannot see how the brand can help, since it currently builds some of the most boring cars on the planet today. YES, well built, practical, reliable, good residual values, but definitely not pretty.

Aiyo~ If it is based on Chery’s Easter, then it’s good coz at least it is called a “Technology Transfer”. Many people just don’t understand that, China’s product has many quality for you to choose from, why u guys just want to discriminate China’s product? Does any China’s product sucks up ur money (FOR THOSE WHO DOES NOT LIKE CHINA’S PRODUCT)? So many China’s products have already benefited you all, but now you say China’s product is a lousy product!!!???!! Why you guys have to do this? For example, any one of you wearing an Underwear, Socks, Slipers, Purse or Wallet, or even the computer keyboard that you use to type the WORDS in Paultan.org, parts of ur Laptop or PC or Monitor that u use everyday. I’m very angry that you guys just does not want to accept the truth that you guys are discriminators to China Product.
We cannot be ego that our product is the best and China product is lousy, YOU,YOU,YOU, and YOU should not saying this, coz China Product is cover all around the world every where, we cannot just simply look at their black dots(Melamine Case) and say that “There are Black Dots in all China Products” we should not do this! REMEMBER, don’t say that YOU NEVER DONE A WRONG THING BEFORE, IN YOUR LIFE~~~ Give them a chance, they are just like past time’s Japan, in those days I remember that(old saying from my Dad) Toyota’s car is Lousy car(Coz the material they use is simply Bad Quality) coz they are not as good as those cars made by Ford. But now, look at Toyota, they are the prestigious car maker in the world, and that’s what the China’s car maker is trying to do now. So give the China Product a chance, don’t “Kutuk” at them, because most of the bad quality product from China, are all demamded from the Request person, because the request person may quote a certain of price which you can’t make it in any factory in the world can make, but China can make it, and this is the Bad from the Request Person not China Product, they are just barely “DO/MAKE IT ON YOUR REQUEST/ACQUISITION” only.
So if this Proton MPV is really based on Chery Easter, you and me should be happier, coz part of it is from China means It’ll be cheaper for you and me, YUHUH~~~~\(^v^)/ cheers, my fellow China products discriminator!!~~!Smile lah.

Paul Tan says: I know you come from a competing website (e-kereta) but no need to fitnah me here lah. Show me your proof? You are also accusing Proton in the process.

Anyway I have enough problems reminding proton to send me press releases that’s why sometimes for example my Proton Saga story has no photo of the car at first, then the photo will be added later when I finally get it from Proton. They sometimes appear to be not even interested even in free publicity of their business activities, you think they want to pay for it ah? How to get car la brother!

The only time I have ever received money from Proton is roughly two years ago when Proton Edar put up an ad banner on my site. That was a bad experience for me in collecting the payment.

what ever it is start from year 2000 proton design their own car,
its so happened that juara is still mitsubishi town box based, its japanese basically.
nothing is too wrong with that ,its just that at the time juara is considered expensive, thats why its not popular and the look,,,
but now juara one of the cutey proton’s ever in its line up, sometimes i do feel to own one, in black, or currenet energy orange,

we have proton design, we have japanese based, thats part and parcel of how proton grows,
and not too soon but probably proton will have vvt +cps, like variocam plus, yes it has been mention, and the milestone of the proton has been projected.

Next year we have two choices of MPV to buy. Perodua and Proton, all are national car manufactures. We will see which one of them are really helping ‘RAKYAT’ to own a car, specialy for a big family and golongan berpendapatan sederhana………………

Congratulations to the PROTON Team. The new brand EXORA is really cool..

With such a design together with competitive price, I think it will boost up the Malaysian confidence with our local car manufacturer. For those who tend to give a bad comment for this car, I suggest you to check out this car with your own eyes before making judgement based on pictures.

Have a drive test and later come out with your wise opinion.

Tahniah proton krana skali lagi berjaya buat saduran mpv drp mana-mana model d dunia.

Thank….and justice for all
