Yet more F1-related fun on public streets, as another lead-in promotional event to the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix takes place. There’ll be a street demo tomorrow (Sat, April 2) in Putrajaya, with Team Lotus managing the action.
Jointly organised by Team Lotus, SIC and Putrajaya, the ‘Team Lotus Live Demo’ will see the Lotus T128 being belted around, piloted by team drivers Jarno Trulli and Heiki Kovalainen. The event is set to take place on the main street in front of the Palace of Justice.
Adding further spice to the inaugural F1 demonstration to be held in Putrajaya are a Malaysian Super Series (MSS) parade, a drift demonstration, a pocket bike and a supermotard stunt display as well as a special AirAsia A320 fly past. Stage activities start from 10am and the main street shows will commence from 2pm. Entry is free.
