TWIN TOWERS @LIVE to return – replaces F1 Rocks event

TWIN TOWERS @LIVE to return – replaces <em>F1 Rocks</em> eventFollowing the announcement made yesterday of the cancellation of the F1 Rocks in Malaysia event that was scheduled to take place this weekend, in conjunction with the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix, Petronas has announced that the TWIN TOWERS @LIVE will return this year.

The full artiste line-up will be announced later today for the 2012 edition, but reports indicate that singer-songwriter Orianthi is in, as is American R&B singer Kelis – they will perform on Friday and Saturday respectively. The free concert will run on March 23-24 at the Petronas Twin Towers, where the canned F1 Rocks event was also to be held.

UPDATE: The artiste line-up has been revealed! Nicole Scherzinger, Kelis and Girls’ Generation will perform alongside Faizal Tahir, Reshmonu and James Baum at TWIN TOWERS @LIVE 2012.

  • What an absolute, bloody disgrace. Kylie has been an influential figure in the international music industry for decades, and far outweighs all of the artists combined. If Singapore could pull it off with such an amazing lineup in 2009, why cant we?? Because we’re so unbelievably incompetent.

    Wow, what a surprising news. Girls’ Generation is coming to Malaysia for the first time since their debut in 2007 plus it is a free entrance event.
