Naza Quest has officially opened a Chevrolet 3S (sales, services, spare parts) centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It’s not “a 3S centre” technically, since functions are split into two. The showroom is located at Lorong Plaza Permai 1, Alam Mesra Shop, Jalan Sulaman, while the service centre is at Jalan Ganang, Kepayan Highway, Penampang.
Operated by OBM Automart, the service centre has four service bays and the showroom will feature the latest Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck. Sabah is of course a pick-up truck dominated market, and it will be interesting to see what the locals think of the Chevy truck. Customers who purchase the Colorado in KK by August 31 will receive a petrol card worth RM300.
Naza Quest COO Datuk Maruan Mohd Said said future expansion plans in Sabah include a 20,000 sq ft, RM3 million 3S centre in KK by the second quarter of 2013. More Chevrolet 3S centres will be opened this year in East Malaysia. This latest outlet brings the total number of 3S centres in East Malaysia to six, three in Sarawak, one in Labuan and two in Sabah.
