Alfa Romeo has garnished its UK range with a new trim level, called Sportiva, for the MiTo supermini and Giulietta small family car.
On top of the Distinctive trim features, the MiTo Sportiva adds 18-inch Quadrifoglio Verde sports alloys, sports kick plates, and Sportiva badges. Darkened interior headlining, matte black steering wheel inserts, a black leather steering wheel and handbrake, and black sports seat upholstery – all with green stitching – grace the interior.
Engine choices are the 85 hp 875cc TB TwinAir, 135 hp 1.4 TB MultiAir and 120 hp 1.6 JTDM-2, bringing the car costs to £16,100, £17,000 and £17,750 respectively.
With the Giulietta Sportiva, the Veloce trim is the starting point. 18-inch spoke design alloys with a dark titanium finish and red Brembo brake callipers are added, as well as sports leather upholstery, a rear storage armrest and sports kick plates.
Six engine choices are offered with this one, along with the new twin-clutch ALFA TCT gearbox. Prices range from £23,110 for the 105 hp 1.6 JTDM-2, to £26,660 for the 170 hp 2.0 JTDM-2.
Alfa says that with the MiTo Sportiva, buyers are getting £1,500 worth of goodies for only £750 extra, and £3,000 worth for only £1,860 extra in the case of the Giulietta Sportiva.

I think Alfa is an under appreciated car, in fact many young people are not aware of it at all. When I show them pictures of it, most of them like it very much, they love its unique and bold designs.
