The all-new G11/G12 BMW 7 Series was unveiled earlier this month with more tech and luxury, but for the select few who are in the market for a big limo that’s a cut above what one can drive away from the showroom, but for some reason don’t want a Bentley or Rolls-Royce – here’s the 7 Series by BMW Individual.
Likened to a world-class orchestra that’s beautiful and highly complex, the BMW Individual 7 Series adds on finer materials and touches that require extra effort for a more bespoke and personalised limo.
The car stands out in a sparkling BMW Individual Almandine Brown metallic paint finish and wears 20-inch BMW Individual bi-colour forged light alloys. Laser ‘BMW Individual’ lettering on the wheels and an emblem below the variant badge are other clues that it’s a BMW Individual car.
Inside, the big BMW is made more special with aluminium door sill finishers with illuminated ‘BMW Individual’ lettering, fine-grain full Merino leather with matching Alcantara headliner, interior trim in Piano Finish Black and a BMW Individual leather steering wheel with fine wood and logo.
The leather is chosen from special breeds of cattle, and is free from scarring or other blemishes. With weave-style stitching and hand-woven piping, the leather covers 30 square metres of surface area, the video tells us. A coolbox behind the rear armrest can chill your choice of drink.
Should be special enough for most, but if you’re the one in a million, BMW Individual Manufaktur will “turn almost every customer request, no matter how individual, into reality with style and hand-crafted perfection” provided it does not contravene safety requirements and BMW brand values. That should mean that your daughter’s pink propeller badge request will be politely turned down.

Looks luxurious indeed for the select few. This flagship model will do quite well here since it has its own set of followers and IMHO the 7er is for business while the S Class is the weekend ride to your dinner appointments or orchestras.
Have we listed out the reasons why S-class outsells 7-series in Malaysia?
I tell you one: many people said BMWs are less reliable compared to Mercedes. And rumours have a lot of power.
The first step to improve sale is done, that is the 5-year warranty. What is next?
Both Merc n BMW is famous for kwai tai and sui kwan all the time. The really rich person has no time to waste in the hot sun waiting for tow truck. They would rather buy the Lexus ES for true luxury. Only poor fags buys a merc or BMW to show off.
