Naza Quest has announced new variants for the Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck and Chevrolet Cruze sedan. The Colorado Sport and Cruze Sport, as they are called, are now open for booking. The cars will be showcased at the One Utama Auto Fair from December 2-6.
The Colorado Sport is based on the Colorado LTZ Muscle powered by a 2.8 litre Duramax diesel engine with 200 PS and 500 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. It’s not too different from the “Sport Edition” seen in April, and adds on a front bumper guard, side fender, door visors, rear roll bar, and 18-inch alloys. Inside, you’ll find leather seats and door trim plus a reverse camera.
Interestingly, there’s also fully adjustable sports suspension, which Naza Quest claims improves the truck’s ride comfort and on-road handling, while the lower ride height adds to the truck’s aggressive looks. Their words. It is priced at RM138,967 on-the-road, with insurance. The standard warranty package of three years or 100,000 km applies.
As for the Cruze Sport, it appears similar to the “Sport Edition” we saw in October. There’s a bodykit, door visors and “Ultimate” 17-inch alloys. The Sport also includes leather seats, LED sill plates and a driver foot rest. The Cruze Sport also comes with better throttle response and a stainless steel air filter, Naza Quest says. We previously sighted a power curve that shows an improved mid-range.
The Cruze Sport is powered by a 1.8 litre Ecotec engine with 140 PS and 167 Nm. It is priced at RM122,868 OTR with insurance. The warranty package is five years or 200,000 km.
Naza Quest is offering cash rebates of RM12,500 for Cruze Sport and RM6,000 for Colorado Sport, while stocks last. In addition, customers who register any Chevy from now till December 10 are eligible to participate in the “Manchester United For Life” contest. The grand prize is two VIP hospitality match tickets to watch Manchester United vs Chelsea at Old Trafford on December 28, including flight tickets and 5D4N accommodation. If you don’t already know, Chevrolet is United’s shirt sponsor.

words from an insider say… even though the all new Cruze will debut soon in US, malaysia will still stick to the current model.
in fact, the importer plans to have it assembled locally but it may get the 1.4 turbo already used by Cruze and Orlando in neighbouring Singapore.
the good looks of Colorado may attract more buyers in East Malaysia but the brand will remain luke warm in Peninsular.
here in east malaysia…more n more hilux trd on the road…
I kinda like orlando.. It’s a shame the turbo mill is not coming here.. At least malaysia have extra choice than cross touran, 5008, etc..
I’m surprised the brand is still alive here in Malaysia. I wonder how many Chevrolet Sonic they sold this year…
Just kill the Cruze already
Hi I m Fadiman from Sarawak, previously I planned to selected Colorado but at the end I chooses Ranger cos of pricing and maintenance costs..Colorado is superb vehicle’s but to pricey…
Better get the Wildtrak than this.
Old news but I couldn’t wonder why is the Colorado is 2 years behind in term of facelift? There’s so much improvements been done to the Colorado but seems like the one in Asia region seems to just be interested in “sporty” tweaks.
And they lowered the ride?
