These days, pick-up trucks aren’t just touted as workhorses, but as lifestyle vehicles as well. For this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Fiat is illustrating that very idea with its Fiat Fullback Show Car. Looks familiar, doesn’t it?
That’s because the Show Car is based on the Fiat Fullback, which itself is based on the Mitsubishi Triton, the Show Car wears a Liquid Metal Grey paintjob, with the mirrors, door handles, sport bar, and side steps dipped in matte black.
At the front, the truck sports a unique fascia featuring a revised grille (with chrome-plated segments) and bi-xenon headlamps. Moving on, there are 20-inch alloy wheels with diamond black inserts, flared fenders, tinted tail lights and unique Fiat badging.
Inside, the pick-up gets leather seats along with anodised copper accents on the dashboard. It also receives gloss black trim pieces, special floor mats, and an infotainment system with GPS navigation.
Under the bonnet, a 2.4 litre turbodiesel engine provides 180 hp, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system with rear electronic differential.
