Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has announced that the Euro 5-compliant version of its Petronas Dynamic Diesel is now available in Klang Valley. Currently available at six stations in the region, the cleaner fuel is suitable for Euro 5 diesel cars with the latest exhaust aftertreatment systems. It is priced at RM1.80 per litre, 10 sen more than the regular Euro 2M diesel.
The six stations are at Technology Park Malaysia, Mutiara Damansara (north-bound), NKVE (Damansara-bound), Solaris Putra, Solaris Serdang (south-bound) and SPRINT Highway. Petronas stated that it will continue to roll out the fuel across the country, with more than 30 stations earmarked to receive Euro 5 diesel by the end of the year – including another 25 in the Klang Valley.
Introduced in Johor last year, the Euro 5 Dynamic Diesel is claimed to have been developed through the company’s Dakar Rally experience to deliver engine protection, power restoration and cleaner combustion, resulting in maximum performance and fuel economy.
“Last year when we introduced Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 in Johor, we promised our customers in the Klang Valley that we were working towards making it a reality and now it is available in our stations,” said PDB managing director and CEO Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus.
“Meanwhile, continuous engagement and feedback received from consumers aided in the development of improved chemistries to deliver optimum engine performance in today’s latest common-rail injector systems.”
Last year, Petronas was among the first to offer Euro 5 diesel in Malaysia in December, at stations along the Pasir Gudang Highway and at Gelang Patah in Johor.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Filled in last week at Mutiara Damansara. Perhaps PDB should think about not putting the Euro 2M diesel black nozzle side by side with Euro5 blue nozzle
Why?
Shudnt be a big problem unless colour blind
where you want it to put then?
in his car porch…lol
u should take the yellow nozzle for yr diesel truck or car… the green nozzle is euro97..lagi best…
Any news of its availability in Kuching, Sarawak?
Euro 5 grade, fine…
But what blend, B7 or B10???
Well done www.paul.org for the announcement in your website
BTW Petronas website didn’t announce the sane yet !!!
Ron 95 & 97 side by side.
Even diesel & petrol side by side.
So what is your problem?
There is nothing to be proud of Petronas as oil company. BHP and Shell lead with a big no of EU5 Diesel offering compare to Petronas.
BHP & Shell got their E5 stocks from SG refinery. Pet got theirs from Pengerang. See the difference?
now we have euro 5 but bmw discontinued 320d
There is still 520d, x1 20d and x3 diesel, cx5 and ,mazda6 sky active D, Eclass hybrid… List goes on
the 320d is a far cry from the m6 diesel.
Why launch the euro 5 now? You should launched in 2020.
Just mit euro m2 & reduce 10cent
the news is many years outdated by the world standard…..
Where can i find Euro 5 Diesel in Ampang area?
